Lyber's connector adds both models to the Codex desktop app beside your ChatGPT models, or creates a separate Codex CLI profile. It checks the live model catalog, asks for your key at a hidden prompt and backs up your settings before changing them.

Notes

Needs Python 3.11 or later, on macOS or on Linux with a user systemd session.
Desktop setup keeps your ChatGPT sign-in and dictation; only Lyber selections spend Lyber credit.
Undo it any time with python3 ~/Downloads/lyber-codex-connect.py --restore.
